{If you are a big sister, high-fives all around!} At the age of 11 I took this picture of my mother and sister, inspired by one I'd seen in a photography book. From that moment I became fascinated with photography but as I matured I began to appreciate how photographs capture more than just images. As I look at this photo, I remember more than just that day. I remember rollerskating with my sister Nishi, eating soggy Oreos with wrinkled fingers after a day spent in the pool, Mom calling us in for dinner, how the smell of honeysuckle permeated the house from the clippings Nishi and I gathered from the abandoned lot behind our house. Each wedding has its own story, each bride and groom their own romance. Allow me to capture and preserve your special day so you can relive the memories forever, because you deserve a photographer who is invested in your happiness. It's important to me to develop a relationship with my clients, so let's discuss the details of your wedding, over the phone or over coffee. -Komal |
